Top 10 Reasons to Skin Brush

I just gave away five Skin Brushes because I want you to skin brush! Dry skin brushing is one of the most beneficial and least time consuming things you can do to improve your health and your figure. I'll be giving away a free dry skin brush on the 1st of each month. All you have to do is sign up to receive my newsletter and updates (over there…to the right side of the page)  –>>>>>>>>

One of the biggest challenges when trying to losing inches and stay healthy is the elimination of toxins and the circulation of nutrients. When you improve your circulation and delivery of nutrients and get rid of toxins and burned fat, it is so much easier to get rid of your unwanted weight and inches. Why?

TOP 10 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD SKIN BRUSH

1.    Cellulite Removal.

Ok, I'm going to start with what I know we all hate to admit we care about, but we do. Regular and consistent dry skin brushing will break through cellulite and buildup and tighten up the skin. It takes at least 3 – 6 months of regular brushing to see a difference. Dry skin brushing triggers nerve endings at the surface of the skin, which tones the associated muscles.

2.    Skin Detox.

Skin is the largest elimination and detox organ of the body! Yep, that is right. The skin removes more toxins from the body than your kidneys and liver. Sloughing off the dead cells rejuvenates the skin and allows it to move more toxins out of the body. Toxins are stored in the fat cells if they aren't eliminated from the body.

3.    Hormone Balancing.

Dry skin brushing stimulates the hormone producing glands (pituitary, peneal, thyroid, parathyroid, thymus, ovaries, testes, and adrenal glands). Hormones largely maintain metabolism, and levels of chemicals in the blood. Who couldn't use a little natural hormonal balancing?

 4.    Lymphatic Detox.

Without properly flowing lymph system the fluid becomes clogged with waste products.  By stimulating the flow of lymph it increases.

5.    Immune System.

By encouraging the lymph to flow properly, the lymph carries foreign particles through the body to the lymph nodes to make antibodies. These antibodies go through the body and clear that foreign material. If the lymph doesn't flow then the body doesn't know there is foreign, potentially harmful material to start with.

 6.    Vitamin Delivery.

Lymph transports important vitamins like A, D, E, and K. Since dry skin brushing increases flow of lymph it helps us to absorb these vitamins where our body needs them most.

7.    Cancer Prevention.

We have cancerous cells in our bodies all the time! A tumor grows when our body is unable to detect and kill these cells that have started to become poisonous to our bodies. A big function of the lymphatic system is to show foreign materials to the immune system. This includes parts of cancer cells. If the lymph is flowing the immune system can detect cancers early and clear them.

8.    Dead Skin removal and exfoliant.

By regularly exfoliating the dead skin cells off the surface of the skin, dry brushing allows and encourages for fresh naturally moisturized skin to be at the surface. Throw out your lotion and bring on the dry brush.

 9.    Invigorate.

Dry skin brushing is invigorating first thing in the morning. It seems to awaken the skin and bring a warm feeling to the surface of the skin.

 10. Fast and cheap.

Quite frankly, this is my favorite reason to skin brush. You can purchase an all-natural fiber skin brush from the T-Tapp online store for just $11. And brushing only takes a few minutes. If you have extra time you can put more effort into it and increase strokes, but any bit of dry brushing will provide the benefits.

T-Tapp TIPIf you activate your muscles when dry skin brushing by getting into the basic T-Tapp stance, you will increase the benefits of dry skin brushing by even more!

Hi Elizabeth,
A dear friend sent me over to read your top 10 reasons and I’m glad she did! Excellent information for me to keep in mind when I just don’t feel like brushing and to pass on to others to encourage them to brush! Thank you!!!

It is easy to skip the skin brushing but it really does so much for us…maybe even more than a workout. :)
